Rev. Dr. James W. Clifton
The Rev. Dr. James W. Clifton is the Presiding Bishop of the Asociation of Independent Evangelical Lutheran Churches. He holds the following degrees: Bachelor of Science from Delta State University, Cleveland, MS; Master of Divinity from Golden State School of Theology, Stockton, CA; Master of Theological Studies from Indiana Wesleyan University, Indianapolis, IN; Master of Theology and Doctor of Philosophy from Bethany Divinity College and Seminary, Dothan, AL; Master of Science in Community Health, California College for Health Sciences, Palo Alto, CA; Master of Science in Psychology, California Coast University, Santa Anna, CA and Doctor of Ministry from Andersonville Theological Seminary. He is an Indiana Licensed Clinical Social Worker and hold certifications in Rational-Emotive Behavioral Therapy, Thought Field Therapy, Cognitve-Behavioral Therapy, Redirection Therapy, and Reality Therapy. He is also a Licensed Clinical Pastoral Counselor and a Certified Chrisitan Counselor. He has also received training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Oriented Therapy, Logotherapy, and in the Michele Weiner-Davis Divorce Busting program.
Rev. Enrique R. Ramos, Ph.D.
The Rev. Enrique R. Ramos, Ph.D. - Dr. Ramos currently works as an Addictions Therapist at the V.A. Hospital in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He is a Theologian in Residence with ReformaDos Ministry of the Iglesia del Centro, Arecibo, Puerto Rico, Chaplain in the Naval Reserve having served at Roosevelt Rhoads in Ceiba, Puerto Rico, and a former theology professor at the Inter-American University in San Germán, Puerto Rico. He has an M.Div. from Westminster Theological Seminary, Philadelphia, PA, an M.S.W. from the Universidad de Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras, an M.Th. from North-West University, South Africa, a Ph.D. from Seminario Campbell Morgan, Argentina, a Ph.D. from Seminario Mayor Escuela de Teologia y Ciencia de la Religion from Colombia, and a Th.D (Hon.) from Faculdade Teologica, Missao, Macedonia, Republica Federativa, Brasil. He is an ordained minister in the General Lutheran Church serving as Dean, International Coordinator, Director of Chaplaincy Services, and Resident Theologian. Dr. Ramos is also Professor at the ReformaDos Escuela de Ministerios (School of Ministry) in Caguas, Puerto Rico, and at the Seminario Reformado Latinoamericano of Colombia teaching Systematic Theology and Apologetics, as well as in charge of guiding the doctoral students in their dissertations.
