Concordia Academic Theology Consortium, Intl.

Consists of a partnership and collaboration effort among the following independent not for profit international institutions that deal in sharing credit bearing theological courses and programs.

  • International Faith Theological Seminary and University College (Kenya)

  • Mosupatsela Lutheran Theological College (South Africa)

  • Martin Luther School of Bible and Theology (Puerto Rico)

C.A.T.C. is an association of lutheran theological organizations with the objective of participating in a common activity of getting people to know Jesus.  Pooling their resources for achieving a common goal: to participate in the development of study programs and participate in exemplary faculty and staff development programs. This enables members the opportunity to leverage and pool their institutions’ respective resources to other members toward common goals.

C.A.T.C. is dedicated to Christ-centered service to reach the community, the nation, and the world with the love and compassion of Christ.

We hope to empower students to transform the world for eternity. In faithfulness to our vision, nurture students through a well-rounded, academic program that will enable them to actualize their potential and prepare them to assume roles of leadership and influence.

Mission

Through our combined efforts towards Christian education, we pledge to cultivate student’s ethics and world view to act with integrity and honesty. They think, inquire, interact, reflect, strive and excel within and beyond our international curriculum framework.

  1. These partnerships focuses on helping colleges develop and implement degree programs that will be validated (ratified, recognized, made equivalent). Validate the academic degrees that each institution is conferring, so that they have the same meaning and value, one for the other.

  2. A student’s achievements in Brazil, will be recognized in South Africa, Kenya, or Puerto Rico.

  3. To create a common study format utilizing the Martin Davis studies as a foundation for everyone to agree and to build upon that.

  4. To reach an agreement between all parties in the curriculum that will be offered after that foundation.

  5. To be able to offer among all seminaries MA and PhD courses by extension at the thesis level.

  6. Be able to endorse the degrees of each university/ seminaries among all the others.

  7.  To be able to offer M.A. and Ph.D. courses by extension and at the thesis level.

  8. Create a brotherhood between teachers and students so that the academic / religious community grows.
